NAMIBIA

WHERE THE DUNES MEET THE OCEAN

The diversity of the landscape makes it a unique experience for guests having their first self-drive experience, for the most experienced overlanders, or travelers with guide and driver. One of the best self-drive safari destinations in Africa, all year round.

You can choose:

    • a self-drive adventure,
    • an escorted self-drive,
    • a 4×4 itinerary with a driver, or
    • a fly-in safari

The areas of interest include the Etosha National Park for the wildlife, the arid mountains of Kunene and Damaraland, the Skeleton Coast National Park, the remote Sandwich Harbour on the Ocean, the orange dunes of Sossusvlei, the ghost town of Kolmanskop,  the Unesco Cultural Site of Twyfelfontain, and the Unesco Natural Site of the Namib Sand Sea, and the Fish River Canyon National Park.

    • Between May and September, Namibia is in the Dry Season and wildlife congregates around rivers and waterholes, making animals easier to spot
    • From October to April Namibia is greener, with plenty of newborns and migratory birds
    •  October and April are shoulder months
