Botswana is at its best in the dry season between June and October. Depending on your desire, we will be happy to choose for you the best campsites and lodges.

Our trips in Namibia

One of the best self-drive safari destinations in Africa, all year round. The variety of the landscape makes it a unique experience for both guests having their first self-drive experience or for the most experienced overlanders. The itinerary we suggest wants to be a starting point to visit the most famous landmarks. Depending on your time, we will be happy to extend your stay and suggest the secret spots we discovered while traveling to Namibia on a regular basis. The suggested itineraries allow you to visit the private Okonjma’s leopard & cheetah reserve, the Etosha National Park, arid Damaraland, the Skeleton Coast National Park, Swakopmund, and the world-famous red dunes at Sossusvlei, and the iconic Deadvlei. Possible extensions include a visit to the Caprivi strip (the Mamili region has a very similar ecosystem to the Okavango Delta), the Kaokoland (famous for the Himba tribes), the Fish River Canyon, the Epupa Falls and much more. Just express your desire and favorite activities. We will find the perfect fit for you.

Our trips in South Africa

It is hard to summarize in a few lines why South Africa is one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the World. Wildlife, valleys, mountains, forests, deserts, coastlines, vineyards, grassy savannahs that are breath-taking, but also an amazing mosaic of cultures, history, and tradition, and all in one reasonably small country, ideal for self-drive. Road conditions are excellent, and itineraries are easily adaptable to any discerning travelers. The planet’s most exciting wildlife species can be found here. South Africa is home to a collection of the most abundant and diverse game reserves on earth. The internal part of the country provides some of the most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries in the world. National parks such as Kruger, Kgalagadi Transfrontier, KwaZulu-Natal, and Limpopo, have captured the imagination of wildlife enthusiast across the world. The Drakensberg, Waterberg and of course Table Mountain offer breath-taking, world-class views. There are also incredible cities like Cape Town and all the Wineland villages along the coastlines of the Garden Route.

Our trips in Tanzania

If you are looking for the ultimate wildlife self-drive overland safari, Tanzania is your destination. We recommend Tanzania to guests with an experience of self-drive and camping in remote areas. The road conditions may become challenging, and remoteness, together with proximity to wildlife is almost guaranteed. The suggested itineraries are focused on the Northern parks and allow you to visit 5 of Tanzania’s amazing National Parks. You will get close to the Tarangire’s elephants, Lake Manyara’s flamingo’s and if you are lucky, the tree-climbing lions. Depending on the seasonality, we will help you enjoy one of the most amazing natural events: the Serengeti’s ‘Great Migration’. Last but not least, Ngorongoro’s Crater, the world’s largest caldera. Depending on when you will plan your trip, we will also be pleased to invite you to our lodge at Lake Ndutu. The property has global importance for biodiversity conservation due to the presence of globally threatened species, the density of wildlife inhabiting the area, and the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, antelopes. Elephants, giraffes, lion prides, and leopards are resident in the area. If you are interested in climbing the Kilimanjaro, we will organize this for you, and give you some hints on how to get prepared for the climb. Should you want to relax after a long trip in the wilderness or a climb of the Kilimanjaro, we will be happy to organize for you a relaxing stay on the beaches of Pemba, Mafia Island, or Zanzibar. Tanzania, the ultimate wildlife experience!

Our Trips in Zimbabwe

Authenticity, essence, and wilderness. Zimbabwe is one of the best wilderness areas. We normally propose a point-to-point adventure in which you will start in Livingstone with the Victoria Falls, you will go into Zimbabwe and you will then finish in Botswana. The political situation in Zimbabwe is now getting back to normal, and it is safe to travel. Tourists are few and prices are competitive, but the main parks are still cared for and well worth visiting. Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe is not to be missed. The area’s temperate climate is characterized by a dry season (April to October) and a wet season (November to March). The drier months are cool to warm, although the temperature goes up in advance of the rains. In the wetter months, the temperature climbs to an afternoon average of around 30°C/86°F, but high levels of humidity make it hard to bear. This is the reason why we do advise to choose this journey in the dry season between May and October. Depending on your desire, we will be happy to choose for you the best campsites and lodges.

New England

One of the best-kept secrets in the United States. An overland tour through Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine is a unique experience. The colors during the foliage (September/October) are amazing, the coastline is as spectacular as it can be, and during the winter time (January and February), exploring the trails with the snowmobile is a unique experience. Furthermore, if you would like to move to the next curve, and improve your driving skills, we will be pleased to pair your stay in New England with a professional 4×4 advanced driving training. Our partners are the official trainers for the FBI, the CIA, and the United States Marine Corps.

European Alps

The company founders are from Italy, and their origins are from a fascinating corner of the European Alps. While our focus and expertise are on Africa, we also organize self-drive adventures in Europe as well. The high mountain ridge that is the borderline between Northern Italy and continental Europe, with an average altitude of 10,000 ft, in Winter is covered by snow and glaciers. In Summer, more than 600 mi of the old World War II gravel roads is accessible for 4×4 vehicles and brave mountain bikers. These dirt trails twist around the famous summits, such as the Matterhorn, the Mt Blanc, the Dolomites, and hidden steep valleys with stunning landscapes. Last but not least, every night our overland teams can enjoy the genuine Italian dinners.
